  15. A.D. Software announces the release of version 1.2 of OOFILE.

  18. - Non-join relationships 
  19. - Multiple field sorting, including reverse sorted segments, without
  20. needing compound indexing.
  21. - General Dependency mechanism, which provides automatic re-sorting
  22. - Additional searches, including wildcards, optimised combinatorial
  23. searches and single-pass multiple string fragments.

  27. OOFILE is a cross-platform tool for C++ programmers. It provides databases that
  28. are transportable across Windows, Unix and Macintosh with no conversion
  29. required.

  31. OOFILE goes well beyond traditional database frameworks, by including
  32. report-writer, charting and GUI integration classes.

  34. Unlike most other object-oriented databases, OOFILE allows you to think totally
  35. in C++. Instead of having to learn an SQL-like query language, simple C++
  36. expressions are used.

  38. For Macintosh developers, OOFILE is integrated with the popular AppMaker
  39. prototyping and code generation tool. Together they provide complete application
  40. generation without writing any C++ code.

  44. multi-user distributions. It uses the industrial-strength C-tree Plus
  45. database engine from Faircom Corp. in the USA, to provide indexing and
  46. multi-user capabilities. C-tree Plus is used in over 360,000 user sites
  47. worldwide.
